Session Description

Faced with the challenge of coming up with unique ways to review for exams with virtual students, I designed digital escape rooms using free Google Suite products. I borrowed this technique from the K-12 space and found that students enjoyed the opportunity to engage with course material collaboratively or individually, synchronously or asynchronously. I've created virtual escape rooms for science courses, statistics courses, and even for non-academic topics. I will guide attendees through a brief introduction to the general process and benefits of creating a virtual escape room for academic course content.
