The pandemic has created inequitable college participation rates for underrepresented populations. Modern States Educational Alliance has developed free online, on-demand courses in all 34 CLEP subjects. Students who complete a course will receive funding to pay for the CLEP exam and fee to test at home.
Session Description
The pandemic has created inequitable college participation rates for underrepresented populations. We need to create new pathways for students to recapture lost time and find affordable ways to accelerate time to degree. College Board’s CLEP program has been the most widely used credit by exam opportunity for learners of all ages for over 50 years. And with Modern States Educational Alliance, students can earn college credit at no cost. Modern States has developed free online, on-demand courses in all 34 CLEP subjects. Students have the flexibility to take a Modern States course on their own timeline and for students who complete the course in its’ entirety, Modern States will cover the cost of the CLEP exam and associated test administration fee, including the fee charged for students who prefer to test at home. With no set exam administration windows, students can earn college credit whenever they are ready.
