Session Abstract

In an innovative English Education methods course, teacher candidates examine possibilities for pedagogical change in the post-pandemic ELA classroom through the lens of James Moffett’s work. My presentation details how the methods course integrates theory and practice through flexible co-teaching models and differentiated roles using twenty-first century technology.

Session Description

My presentation is responsive to flaws in the educational system exposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Flexible teaching models are needed to staff schools in hybrid and distance learning formats.
