Online Discussion Boards that Students Don't Hate

Session Description

I share a way of setting up online discussion boards that maximizes student engagement. The basic idea is to use multiple discussion thread topics that encourage different ways of approaching content in focused but open-ended ways (e.g. "Content relates to another class"; "Content relates to material outside of class"), and which can allow for creative contributions (e.g. memes or TikToks).
