Short Description
The overall paper proposal in progress will establish that a market exists for an automated saving product designed to train and motivate beginning savers, particularly those living paycheck-to-paycheck, in order to proceed with the development and testing of this product. This first portion of the research proposal focuses on three factors influencing the choices of beginning savers: rationality, financial knowledge, and behavioral influences.
