Through this virtual exchange kit, students connect to explore topics related to diversity and prominent social justice issues in their cultural contexts. The learn-act-reflect design cycle aims to equip youth with the critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills to discover, participate, and promote vibrant social change.

Professional Biography

I'm a 3rd year PhD candidate in applied linguistics at York University. My doctoral research explores intercultural miscommunication in a virtual exchange project connecting English language learners in Canada and Jordan. My other research interests are intercultural communicative competence in foreign language education; technology-mediated language learning; language, culture, and identity.
