This presentation shares participant voices (hopes, fears, powerful change and inevitable resistance) in an eService Learning project pairing Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) graduate students with adult learners of English in Afghanistan for synchronous online tutoring sessions.

Professional Biography

As a language teacher, university program director, Fulbright scholar in TEFL/Applied Linguistics, and teacher educator in Brazil, France, Mexico and the US, Sarah E. Dietrich has worked with students and colleagues from over forty different countries.  Her current research explores eService Learning, peacebuilding, and intercultural competence as transformational change.
