Edmund ‘Ted’ Hamann is a professor of education policy and practice at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is particularly interested in the local creation of education policy in response to demographic change caused by migration. In 2020 he was inducted as an AERA Fellow by the American Education Research Association.

Theresa Catalano is an associate professor of second language education/applied linguistics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research focuses on education, migration, and critical language studies. She teaches courses such as Intercultural Communication, World Language Methods, Foundations of Dual Language, and Linguistics.
