Library-vendor relations: a tug-of-war or a three-legged race? Get a preview of a global survey of vendor service expectations that gathers perceptions of library workers and vendors. Do vendors understand libraries’ shifting priorities? What services do library workers not consider priorities? Join our lively campfire and engage via live polling.
Many thanks to those who have contributed to the survey on library vendor service expectations which collects the perceptions of workers from vendors and academic/public libraries. The survey closes on February 28th. If you have already shared your experiences via the survey, please encourage your colleagues to do so. As a validation measure, this confidential survey collects limited contact information (name and email address). Participants receive a copy of their response by email. Identities of respondents are confidential and will not be shared with any third parties. This research is planned for publication as a peer-reviewed journal article, with results also to be shared at professional conferences.
