Abstract
This presentation describes the draft NISO Recommended Practice that establishes guidelines for metadata for video and audio assets--a fast-growing area of library content--and provides a vocabulary that connects existing standards to enable more efficient exchange of content among producers and consumers, Its content will enable two parties, each of whom uses a particular metadata model, to communicate clearly with each other.
