Abstract

Lean Library’s 2021 study on patron workflows, Librarian Futures, found that the majority of patrons now begin their discovery process outside the library, on websites such as Google Scholar. However, a significant majority of patrons (89% of students and 93% of faculty) would like to see their library’s discovery service embedded in their workflow. This session will look at one university’s experience of embedding their discovery service (ExLibris Primo) into patron workflows with Lean Library Futures.

Presenters

Yisrael Kuchar, Sr. Director of Product Management, Ex Libris
Matt Hayes, Managing Director, Lean Library, Lean Library
