Abstract
A new NISO working group is addressing a thorny issue of ambiguity in electronic resource management: the precise identification of title packages. Currently packages are identified only by name in the supply chain, though varieties with different content may exist. A unique identifier would allow alll stakeholders to streamline and simplify their processes.
