Session Abstract
Academic teaching and learning have gone through a massive upheaval in recent years, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting need to integrate online instruction with traditional face-to-face classes. Consequently, academic institutions are now confronting numerous new challenges, such as the need for greater agility in program offerings; a decrease in government support; stronger competition in student recruitment as enrollment declines; growing forms of alternative, nonacademic education; and the rising importance of lifelong learning to support one’s career.
