Speaker Abstract
CalRecycle is paving the way for the next innovation boom in California by investing in a truly circular economy. With recent allocations totaling $270 million dollars, CalRecycle is investing in local government efforts and California businesses that are reducing climate and trash pollution through recycling organic waste into compost and biofuel, reducing food waste by donating unspoiled food from grocers and restaurants to hungry Californians, and recycling glass, plastic, and other materials into new products. These grants and loans create new, permanent, green collar jobs for Californians and benefit communities that are disproportionately harmed by pollution. Learn about CalRecycle’s grants and loans and help us build a circular economy that benefits all Californians.
