Relationships and Recovery 101 is a reading list that was created at Abertay University using Leganto. It was funded by the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) and was curated in consultation with: Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS), Equally Safe in Higher Education (ESHE), Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (WRASAC), EmilyTest, Dundee Women’s Aid, and Amina Dundee. It is a broad list providing resources on recovering from trauma, information on sexual assault and partner violence as well as consent and healthy relationships. This valuable resource is available to all Abertay staff and students as well as to the wider community via referral from the partner organisations. The functionality of Leganto enabled us to create this resource and was the starting point for the project. We would like to discuss the project itself focusing mostly on the 'why' and not so much on the 'how' - we have worked on it for years but are still in the early stages of rollout.
