Abstract
Low math achievement proves to be a recurring weakness in American students. Gaps in math achievement are prevalent from elementary to graduate school. Intense fear and nervousness towards math, known as math anxiety, is a persistent theme to math avoidance and low achievement. In this session, learn how two elementary school counselors are helping students build math confindence and increase math achievement through multi-tiered interventions. Learn how to have fun while facing your math fears.
