Developing and implementing counseling small groups can be challenging for PreK-2nd grade school counselors. Small groups at this level revolve mostly around behavior modifications which can be boring, difficult to organize, and produce limited results. But what about a child's first language, PLAY? In this session you'll learn strategies for designing effective prek-2 play small groups including using play therapy techniques and advocating for the power of play in school counseling through effecient results reports!
