Abstract

All school counselors enter the profession with a solid understanding of the basic skills needed to connect with students. In this session, we will go beyond the basics to explore how intersectionality plays a pivotal role in a counselor's ability to provide an equitable comprehensive school counseling program. Participants will leave this session with real-world application tools to elevate their comprehensive school counseling program in equity.
