Abstract
Affinity groups can be a powerful way to engage with others and grow in a shared commitment to a topic. As an example, this session will describe the process and outcomes of an affinity group for white school counselors exploring their racial identity and intentionally working towards more antiracist, culturally sustaining practices. A panel of affinity group participants will share their experiences. Other affinity group possibilities will be discussed.
