Abstract

School counselors are facing unprecedented challenges in supporting students with their mental health. Not only do students need day to day services and intervention, but there is a greater need for systems level support and change when it comes to mental health access for students and the community. This session will focus on how counselors can advocate for systems level change and tap into community resources, while still ensuring they have appropriate school based interventions.
