Abstract

Bias! It is a significant concept that everyone can never get enough learning about because we all have it. Together we will investigate the blind spots so we can interrupt disrupt ourselves. This session will allow you to build on what you already know and give you some new understanding of inherent bias concepts through communication, specifically microaggressive verbal acts. Through discussion, reflection, and practice with strategies to interact with an inclusion first mindset.
