Abstract
Social-Emotional Learning directly impacts student achievement. Identifying innovative avenues to infuse SEL into teachers' academic lessons is essential. Intentionality is key when developing a plan to collaborate with teachers about embedding SEL concepts within their academic instructional planning process. Optimizing both teachers and counselors expertises, knowledge, and resources provides a new collaboration model where students’ academic and social-emotional needs are met in tandem.
