Abstract
Mentoring has always been a powerful tool for connecting with students and addressing social/emotional development. In light of the time that students have been away from the school environment, we have used group mentoring as a Tier 2 and Tier 3 tool to connect with students.
This presentation chronicles the experience of two school counselors as they separately spearheaded gender specific group mentoring initiatives. They will share the specific structure, activities, and lessons learned.
