Abstract
As school counselors, it is our duty to advocate for all students regardless of citizenship status. Georgia is one of only three states that bars undocumented students from attending certain public universities. When undocumented and DACA students are accepted to allowable post-secondary institutions, they may be forced to pay out of state tuition with little avenues of finanical help options. This presentation will equipt participants with tools and resources to advocate for and assist undocumented and DACA students who wish to pursue a post-secondary education in the state of Georgia.
