Managing Record Loads for DDA and EBA Ebooks in Alma
Session Abstract
UNLV University Libraries has a long-standing Demand-Driven Acquisitions (DDA) ebook program with GOBI for multiple publishers, and recently began a couple of Evidence-Based Acquisitions (EBA) ebook pilots. This presentation will discuss our approach to managing records for both the DDA and EBA programs using Alma’s Patron Driven Acquisitions functionality for loading records, and Analytics reports, sets, and jobs for deleting records. Additionally, this presentation will discuss a few other approaches we considered and did not pursue, but might make sense at your institution!
