Session Abstract

In this session, we want to discuss the place of AI in library applications, specifically library discovery, where it is useful, and what it can achieve. AI and machine learning are not new but recent discussions around ChatGPT and the OpenAI platform highlight the need to explore how we can benefit from such applications, and what the downsides are. This session is meant to be exploratory and while we bring examples we hope for contributions from the audience as well.

Learning Outcome #1

Find out how AI is applicable to library discovery services and future possibilities.
