Session Abstract

In 2022, Technical Services Librarians at the University of Nevada, Reno structurally reorganized following an Alma/Primo migration. Seeking to explore how other libraries have responded to their migration experiences, they conducted a research study interviewing 10 Technical Services personnel at libraries that migrated within the last five years. This session will examine interview findings in the areas of organizational structure, learning mindset, and workflow adoption as well as provide an overview of the Librarians’ personal reorganization experience. This session is intended to aid post-migration libraries in assessing how Alma can effectively streamline and improve workflows with or without structural changes.
