The role of the library is changing and questions that relate to resources, use of space, and technology are rising. As a result, Ex Libris has identified a growing need for enhanced tools to support institutions and consortia working on collection analysis and development (retention, weeding, development, etc.) This roundtable will explore the main goals concerning collection development, evaluate what exists and moreover what is missing in the current tools and discuss possible solutions that will provide optimized and effective collection analysis and development.
