NISO Interoperability of Controlled Digital Lending Systems Report Update
Session Abstract
Industry Leaders (including Ex Libris, Project ReShare, OCLC, FileLock, Atlas Systems, and xxx) participated in an 18-month requirements exercise to discuss how controlled digital lending (CDL) systems would work with physical inventory systems as well as inter-library lending systems such as Illiad, Tipasa, WorldShare, Rapido and Alma. This presentation will discuss the newly released ISO-CDL Reference framework as well as different areas where CDL is relevant, including bibliographic description, fulfillment and delivery processes, inter-library lending, and analytics.
