Presentation Topic Description
The Orbis Cascade Alliance uses a central package ("CP") in the Network Zone ("NZ") to distribute custom AngularJS modules for Primo VE to 38 member institutions across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. This presentation will cover:
- Why we chose to share customizations through a CP
- Coding standards to ensure central modules are opt-in and will not interfere with local customizations
- Development and testing procedures
- How we manage code in the GitHub repository and NZ
The contents of the Alliance Central Package are available on GitHub. Module documentation can be found in the Primo VE Toolkit.
The presentation would be most comprehensive at 30 minutes, but could be trimmed to 20 to fit the needs of the program.
