Abstract

Horticultural therapy is an evidence-based modality centered on gardening and plant-based activities. Horticultural therapy is an approach to teach children to grow plants, thus enabling them to make the connection that growing plants can help them understand themselves better; it is a useful stress management technique; and can result in something that gives them a sense of accomplishment. The research findings and benefits will be presented. This is a highly interactive presentation.
