Abstract
Student stress is rising and elementary school students are no exception. NCES (2022) reports that 76% of public schools report an increase in school staff concerns regarding student mental health. School counselors are in a unique position to help students deal with increasing stress through whole class instruction. This presentation will discuss strategies for school counselors to help elementary school students deal with both short term and long term stress through whole class instruction.
