Abstract

Don’t ask; don’t tell, don’t counsel. LGBTQ+ students are being harmed by schools and a society that seeks to erase them. Counselors doing their jobs of supporting queer/ trans students are facing new challenges. Beyond knowledge, skills, and attitudes, we have heightened need for thoughtful advocacy. What can we do? How do we do it best? This program is a group forum as we look at best practices, our situations, and our needed supports.
