Historically marginalized students that don’t fit the traditional mold are at-risk of thriving positively in the post-secondary setting. School Counselors can help promote an equitable level playing field by providing access to many 3-E DIAMOND post-secondary opportunities for students. Advocacy and empowerment support are the critical game changing elements that students want, need, and deserve from school counselors.
