Abstract

A comprehensive advisement program is important for all students, but is critically important for students in the margins such as recently arrived immigrant students. This session will introduce an advisement program for recently arrived immigrant students in high school. Presenters will discuss unique needs of recently arrived immigrant students, importance of an inclusive and comprehensive advisement program, and share resources for attendees.
