Abstract
Career counseling in the rural setting requires school counselors to meet student and community needs while respecting the qualities inherent in rural education and the rural setting. Learn effective strategies for advising rural students about STEM careers. This presentation includes a focus on guiding and motivating rural students as well as ways to collaborate with school personnel and unique rural community stakeholders to facilitate career advising with rural students.
