Abstract
Controlled digital lending involves circulating digital copies of legally obtained print books. A NISO panel will discuss the CDL framework recommended practice, highlighting public response, industry gaps, and the need for improved accessibility. They emphasize interlibrary lending and propose a unified patron experience between digital lending (ie "CDL-Adjacent") practices.
