Abstract
Database descriptions are typically a blend of vendor-speak, jargon, and legacy information that creates confusion and usability barriers, inhibiting users from selecting the best tools for their research tasks. This project sought to identify best practices for database asset descriptions through usability testing co-designed with library student employees.
