Abstract

Two years ago, UH Libraries implemented a restructure that reclassified subject liaisons as collections or teaching librarians. We will discuss benefits and challenges we’ve experienced in implementing the functional collections model, how effectively it enables holistic, collaborative collections work, and how well librarians and faculty have adapted to the model.
