Program Summary

We analyzed the pedagogical implications in applied linguistics research articles from 2008-2020 to assess their findability and informativeness for practitioner audiences. We found implications are generally neither salient nor informative for facilitating evidence-based language teaching. We therefore argue that teacher educators are critical in facilitating translation of research into practice.
