Conference
The Resource Types that appear in Primo VE are not directly related to any of the material/resource types in Alma. At the University of Toronto, we encountered some frustration with these differences – our staff didn't understand why the Primo resource types did not reflect the metadata the way we expected them to. Come hear how a group of metadata and user service librarians, archivists, and library staff worked together to improve the resource types that appear in our Primo VE instance. We’ve merged similar Alma and CDI resource types, aligned the metadata and labels in ways our users understand, and begun exploring secondary resource types.
