The following is the TENTATIVE program and schedule for the 2024 ATRA Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO. Presentations, times and other details are subject to change between now and the start of the conference in October.

Regarding CEUs, please note: NCTRC CE Pre-approval will be pending; all sessions may not have been approved by NCTRC. We will post an update when approval for sessions has been received and sessions appropriate for specialty certification as identified by NCTRC.

Biographical Information

Ashley Robinson is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Mayo Clinic Arizona with 10+ years of professional experience working with diverse populations including mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, community health, trauma, veterans and active duty with PTSD, people experiencing homelessness, physical medicine and rehab and acute care. She received her Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Psychology and Masters of Science in Recreation Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. Ashley is a member of both ATRA and ASTRA. Ashley sits as the Co Chair of the Mayo Clinic ARZ Disability MERG and has volunteer experience with local organizations including Ability 360, Special Olympics AZ and AZ Adaptive Watersports. Ashley's goal is to help improve her patient's quality of life by focusing on all factors that influence health, wellness and disease and leading others to do the same.

Biographical Information

Karlie Borowicz is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Mayo Clinic Arizona with 7 years of experience working with various populations including mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics and acute care(PM&R). She received her Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Masters of Arts in Recreation Administration from the University of Toledo. Karlie is a member of both ATRA and ASTRA. Karlie is the secretary of the Mayo Clinic ARZ Disability MERG and has volunteer experience with local organizations including Ability 360, Special Olympics AZ and AZ Adaptive Watersports.
