Ex Libris Knowledge Day

During this session we will look at various Discovery Interface Display Logic options which can be used to improve the user discovery experience. Some examples of what we will show live are:

• Configuring which electronic collections should appear in the services page of an electronic resource after the user clicks “Available Online”.
• Configuring the order of the electronic collections which appear in the services page of an electronic resource after the user clicks “Available Online”.
• Configuring which of the electronic collections should appear at all in the services page of an electronic resource after the user clicks “Available Online”, or if instead the user should go directly to the resource after clicking “Available Online.”
• Configuring which links should appear for users according to user group in the GetIt tab after the use clicks “Available At” for a physical resource.
• Configuring the Display of License Information to the end user after he or she clicks “Available Online” and see the list of electronic collections on the services page.
• Configuring General Electronic Services which the end user can use to obtain additional information about an author, title or other entity in a discovered resource.
