Recreational Therapist

I began working at Mary Free Bed in 2020 as an Outpatient Recreational Therapist. In January of 2022 I began my current position in Inpatient Recreational Therapy. I grew up hunting, fishing, camping, and canoeing with my friends and family. These are things I still love to do and incorporate into both my profession at Mary Free Bed and my personal adventures with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter. Prior to working at Mary Free Bed, I was a Recreational Therapist in a behavioral health setting, facilitating multiple 5 day backpacking trips with At-Risk Youth. Being able to watch patients and their family members realize they can still partake in the activities they love to do is my favorite part of being a Recreational Therapist.
