Session Summary
Opportunities for addictive and risky behaviors are escalating for our students, including drugs and alcohol, screens, disordered eating, social media, self-harm, and more. School Counselors can play a powerful role in preventing and intervening in self-destructive choices, starting as early as kindergarten. Gain a greater understanding of the toxic forces influencing risk factors, and proven approaches for helping our students develop addiction resistance, including tools and resources to use in individual, group, or classroom settings.
