Military-connected students face many unique challenges in their educational journey. School counselors play a vital role in assuring the school climate is responsive to these students’ needs and celebrates their contributions to the school community. This presentation highlights how counselors can create a positive environment for military-connected students through school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, staff development, and military collaboration.
