Session Summary

In this session, participants will go through the journey of a school counselor supporting students affected by cancer. Cancer affect more families frequently. Counselors can offer the best support for these students, and their families at school.

A cancer survivor myself, in 2022  one of my students was diagnosed of stage 4 Osteosarcoma in 2022, I found ways to educate students about his diagnosis, advocate and support students directly affected by cancer.
