Session Summary
As school counselors, we teach social-emotional and academic skills in classroom or small group settings even though not all school counselors have a background in teaching. This interactive presentation will show how school counselors can apply a step-by-step, intentional instructional design process, in conjunction with ASCA action plans, to design robust, impactful classroom lessons or small groups. Please bring an idea of something you would like to impact at your school to the session!
