Historically Black Colleges and Universities offer diverse culture, eduction and experiences that many students are unaware of due to lack of exposure. This presentation aims to assist school counselors in combating prejudice and classist beliefs about these institutions while exposing their students to these spaces of higher learning. By equipping them with history, data and activities to introduce their students to HBCU’s.
