Abstract
Explore advanced functions and their applications for reporting on your institution's data in Alma Analytics. Examples include:
- Using CASE to conditionally change the text of a field
- Using RCOUNT to add a running number to each row of a report and display the total number of rows in an Analytics report
- Using a narrative to display the results of the RCOUNT function
- Using SUBSTRING to display only part of a field.
- Using COUNT BY and COUNT DISTINCT BY to find duplicates.
- Using TIMESTAMPDIFF and TIMESTAMPADD to perform mathematical calculations between fields
For this advanced Analytics session, attendees should have a basic familiarity with creating Analytics reports.
